The Research Center
Northeast
Florida Endocrine and Diabetes Research Center includes eight clinical
endocrinologists practicing in Jacksonville, FL. We are the largest
private endocrinology group in the United States. We have a very
large network of referring physicians from northeast Florida and
southern Georgia. The population in this region is over 1.5 million.
We
have extensive experience in clinical trials involving diabetes
and its complications, cardiology, osteoporosis, rheumatology, and
urology.
Our
practice is unique in that our patient population, which includes
a large volume of diabetics, facilitates enrollment in various clinical
protocols. We are very enthusiastic in continuing our participation
in clinical research.
Our
research center is located at our main office at 1820 Barrs Street,
Suite 520 in Jacksonville and employs three full-time coordinators.
Our facility provides experienced staff, secure storage for investigational
products, full laboratory services with the capability to store
samples at up to -70 degrees F, electrocardiograms, thermo-sensory
analysis, bone densitometry, and paced breathing analysis for autonomic
neuropathy.
